Decision Making Module in CLIO

Badger has been working with stakeholders from the Emergency Services to develop a module for managing the doctrines around the Joint Decision Model and METHANE principles, in line with guidelines from JESIP and to support the Police National Decision Model. This has unlocked some new areas of functionality that are proving to be very exciting for organising information in the system against various categorisations and to provide even more powerful situational awareness features. These enhancements will be included in the upcoming Version 3, due for release shortly.

New Disclosure module in CLIO

In consultation with a national working party from the UK Police Forces, we have designed, developed and are now rolling out a disclosure module within the CLIO system for handling multiple prosecution packages from a single CLIO incident and co-ordinating the process between case officers, disclosure officers and CPS/Courts. The module not only handles the process of reviewing and managing all of the material in CLIO and the related disclosure schedules but also provides a single repository for other disclosure related information produced by the Police, CPS or defence - so that all of this information can be centralised and a comprehensive resource compiled. CLIO Version 2.4 Upgrade now available

We are pleased to announce that the new release of CLIO, version 2.4 , is now available for general release to all customers under support contracts. This upgrade includes many new features and enhancements and these are detailed in Release Notes now available to all qualifying customers. The changes to the system reflect what the user community has asked us to provide and there are some very useful additions, across many areas of business, including a dramatically enhanced module for live Situation Reports & Surveillance, much quicker startup of Operations, more powerful use of templated action lists and much more. CLIO improves Local Resilience in Dorset

Dorset Police, an organisation that already uses CLIO, the IT-based critical incident management system from Badger Software, for major crime investigations has funded the purchase of a system for use by the Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Local Resilience Forum (LRF) at major events in the area including the Bournemouth Air Festival, Dorset Steam Fair and the Dorset County Show. The role of the LRF is to ensure that there are integrated emergency plans for an appropriate and effective response in the event of risks such as terrorist attack, CBRN incidents and major crime as well as naturally occurring incidents such as floods, heat wave, disease and pandemic flu. Cyprus Police and Fire Service using CLIO

The Cyprus Government purchased CLIO for use by the Cypriot Police when they were selected to host the Presidency of the European Union in 2012. The system was installed and officers trained by Badger Software's training staff and CLIO was then used successfully throughout the whole of the 6 month presidency period to help them manage a wide range of events and VIP visits. Since the conclusion of the presidency the system continues to be used by the Cyprus Police and also by their Fire Service. CLIO now truly National as Scotland and Ireland join the community

With 38 of the 43 Police forces in England and Wales already using CLIO, Scotland and Ireland join the community with Strathclyde and PSNI leading the Way. In Scotland, now that ACPOS have approved CLIO as the recongnised tool for Crimes in Action, Tayside, Central Scotland, Lothian and Borders and Fife have been hot on their heels and others are following. At Badger Software, we still hope that one day soon, we will have complete coverage of the United Kingdom. CLIO Version 2.2 - A huge leap forward for CLIO

In January 2011, Badger releases Version 2.2 of the CLIO system to both Law Enforcement and Commercial customers. This new release of the leading Critical Incident Management Software package follows an extensive consultation with the current users and some visionary decisions by the project team at Badger.
