Cyprus Police and Fire Service using CLIO
Monday 21st May 2012
The Cyprus Government purchased CLIO for use by the Cypriot Police when they were selected to host the Presidency of the European Union in 2012.
The system was installed and officers trained by Badger Software's training staff and CLIO was then used successfully throughout the whole of the 6 month presidency period to help them manage a wide range of events and VIP visits.
Since the conclusion of the presidency the system continues to be used by the Cyprus Police and also by their Fire Service.
We have been informed that the Cyprus Police, who are partway through the second year of a 5 year contract, are 100% satisfied with the product and service.
Adam Mastris, the Executive Manager of Antonis Mastris Limited of Larnaka, Cyprus, who are our agents in Cyprus, have been providing the liaison, support and maintenance of the CLIO system to our Government customers there. He says "CLIO was initially acquired to assist the Police manage the increased security issues whilst Cyprus held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union and since then it continues to be used by the Cyprus Police and Fire Services as an incident management tool."
