From its inception in 1994, Badger Software has delivered both consultancy and software development services to several UK Police Forces. Our reputation for delivering systems on time and on budget has allowed us to build a strong working relationship with our clients in this area which is stronger than ever today.

We have supplied and continue to support both large and small scale operational and administrative systems to UK Police Forces. In addition, we have provided support and enhancement services for systems originally developed internally, particularly where our specialist expertise is required.

We have a sound understanding of the principles behind the development and support of mission-critical and sensitive systems for law enforcement agencies. All of our staff are cleared to a high security level for this work and we have had security audits carried out both on our premises and on the software solutions that we develop.

We have been a leading light in the adoption of Microsoft Technologies and in particular Microsoft Web Technologies on secure intranets in a number of UK forces with all the benefits of zero deployment requirements and force wide availability that this platform provides. An example of this technology is the CLIO system for handling rapid reactions to evolving crises. We are also exploring the potential uses for mobile devices to add even more capabilities to the systems we have developed.
